Description: The Precision 500D Aretha OTS Amplifier comes as a part of the Overhead Tube Suspension (OTS) in Precision 500D, which is a digital radiography system. The radiographic systems are used for imaging method diagnosis using X-rays. The systems work on the principle where high velocity electrons, when interacted with the patient’s body, get their kinetic energy converted into electromagnetic radiation. A stream of electrons produced by X-ray tube is accelerated to high velocities by an external high-voltage supply and collide with the target anode in the tube. The beam formed is focused on patient and X-rays emerging from the patient carry the image information which can be stored in a film. The X-ray tube is mounted over the unit in the OTS type units. An amplifier is provided in the OTS. It consists of the Condor vertical motion drive. It is configured to the PC by means of the ESD dongle, T-connectors and cables.
